THE OLIVIER SOAPERY TRAVELS THE PACIFIC ILES

Ste. Anne de Kent, February 5th, 2007 – Olivier Soapery is in love with the earth, and has joined forces with an organization called Défi Quebec Monde (Quebec World Challenge) which is currently executing a research mission in the Pacific isles, to study the long term global effects of climate changes in the region. The mission is taking place on board the Whistler, a 44’ sail vessel. Launching in March of this year, the mission will take three environmental scientists from Quebec on a journey from Puerto Monte in Chile and will travel through the south pacific to the Isle of Robinson Crusoé, Easter Island, into the the fabulous islands that make up French Polynesia, then on to the Cook Islands, into the group of over 171 islands that make up Tonga and then finally into New Zealand.

In the spirit of Valentine’s day and throughout the month of February, Olivier soapery wishes to share with all of us their love of our beautiful planet and all its natural resources, and encourage us all to strive for a healthy global environment and the preservation of all living things.

Olivier has provided the “Whistler” crew with all of the skin care and wellness essentials they will need for the year-long journey, including biodegradable olive oil based aromatherapy products such as lip balms, moisturizers, vitamin E and carrot soap, massage oils, hypoallergenic shampoos, exfoliating products, decongestants, and even My Baby Cream, a natural antibiotic providing immediate relief for cuts and burns, sores rashes, and exposure.

The scientific expedition’s main objective is to augment public awareness, and educate us on the increasing environmental challenges faced within this particular global region. Challenges like rising sea levels, tropical storms which steadily increase in frequency, global warming, as well as tide shifts which threaten many life forms in the area.

The crew of the whistler and Defi Quebec Monde will provide a virtual access to the south pacific to allow people of all ages to discover several areas of the world which are particularly affected by climate changes.

Olivier Soapery walks hand in hand with any and all organizations promoting environmental awareness, family, and community leadership. They produce all-natural, hand crafted, biodegradable skin care products contributing to an improved quality of life.
